The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. It is a part of the famous "Sunset Strip", the mile and a half stretch of Sunset Boulevard passing through West Hollywood. The storefronts of Int'l Sivananda Yoga Community, Liquor Locker, and a restaurant are present. Large billboards are placed near the stores, including one promoting the movie "Jazz Singer" and another advertising December shows at the Harrah's casino resorts in Reno and Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
