AAUW members are going to 'Beat the Drum for Fellowships,' as they meet for this affair to raise funds for their fellowship program. The program supports a foreign woman for one full year of graduate study in the United States. An endowment fund of about $3,000,000 is maintained by AAUW to finance fellowships."
