B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., writes Mr. Kenneth Hopper, with his opinion of Dr. Nobuo Noda's essay that was enclosed in Hopper's May 2nd letter. Inoue comments on the relationship of the Japanese army and navy. He talks about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Inoue says the fundamental factor of Japanese management is collectivism and says that SRI (Sumitomo Rubber Industries) is now promoting the company-wide "suggestion system." The letter contains Inoue's signature. The letter also contains an original handwritten "14" on the top, right corner of page 1 and markings.
