Description
Poster celebrating the dedication of trolley car 129, sponsored by The Fairmont Hotel with honorary conductor Pacific Gas & Electric. The trolley is painted yellow with red trim, and pictured in downtown San Jose. San Jose Trolley Corporation Board of Directors listed on right; Santa Clara County Transit District Board of Supervisors listed on left. Full list of sponsors at bottom. One paragraph background on the trolley in lower left: "Car 129 originally ran from 1913 to 1948, and was given by Charles Smallwood to the San Jose Trolley Corporation which restored and returned it to service on November 18, 1988."
