Their sharp wits and salty tongues goodnaturedly mincing few words, Sinclair Lewis, noted novelist, and his wife, Dorothy Thompson, noted columnist, are pictured in Beverly Hills after she arrived for a lecture. Lewis snorted at his wife's column, and she told him his stage acting "stinks."
