Image of an advertisement for Overland magazine December 1895 issue featuring a Native American Indian man in a loincloth grappling with a bear.
Item originally owned by illustrator Curtis Wager-Smith (1870-1950). Date supplied by cataloger based on copy held by the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. "L. Maynard Dixon"--text, artist's signature on stone, bottom left of image. "Rounsevelle Wildman, Editor."--text, bottom right of image.
