Photograph of the Hotel Redondo with newly planted foliage in the foreground, ca.1898. The three-story clapboard hotel can be seen in the background at center. It has a tall tower at center, and a wide covered porch on the first floor. Many brick chimneys protrude from the light-colored roof. In the foreground, two dirt paths wind through the grounds of the hotel, which are covered with young trees and plants. Many pedestrians can be seen strolling on the paths at left.
