Photograph of a Southern Pacific "Cab Forward" steam locomotive coming out of Snow Shed 10, heading West onto Butte Canyon Trestle, ca.1910. To the left of center, the locomotive can be seen traveling on tracks elevated over a slope by brick columns. The tracks are visible running from left to right across center. Bushes and shrubs can be seen on a hillside that slopes upwards from the foreground, and forms a rocky peak to the left of center. The trunks of two trees are visible at right in front of the tracks. Photoprint reads: "Snow sheds on M.P.R.R.". Originally, the image was captioned as "Missouri Pacific Railroad train making its way over a mountain trestle, [s.d.]".
