Some of the fine oaks which give the name to White Oak Flat on the Santa Barbara National Forest. This can be made accessible by the building of about 1/4 mile of road from the highway up Santa Ynez river. A hole in the river about 1/2 mile away can be used for swimming until a pool is built.
