Photograph of the lighthouse at Point Loma near the ocean, ca.1905. At left a white lighthouse is visible with a dark-colored tower on top. Two balconies wrap around the round tower, and a window is visible on the very top portion. A white fence surrounds the lighthouse, and a flag pole flying the American flag can be seen to the left of it. The lighthouse stands on top of a rocky cliff, below which is the ocean. The vertical sides of the cliff appear to have been eroded by water, while the ocean is visible in the right background.
