Description: Exterior of the Butler Brothers department store located at 6609 Van Nuys Blvd., Van Nuys. Brown paper cover the display windows and glass doors. Holes in the canopy overhang allow the sidewalk palm trees to tower over the store. Sidewalk benches advertise businesses along Van Nuys Blvd. and a mail box drop is on the corner, next to the street sign. Photograph dated December 2, 1957.
