Photograph of a motorized float at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, ca.1917. The float is facing to the left and is composed of a swan sculpted from flowers attached to the front of an open car decorated with plants. There is a group of men riding in the car, and, except for the driver who is dressed in traditional chauffeur clothes, all of the men are wearing dark suits and bowler hats. The swan is made of white flowers and has a ribbon running from its neck to the car. The float is parked in front of a palm tree more trees and a house are visible in the distance.
