Description
Photograph caption dated February 7, 1961 reads, "This drawing by architect Joe Jordan shows proposed concept of the Sun Valley Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library which will be built at 7931 Vineland Ave. The Board of Library Commissioners have approved preliminary palns for the $214,000 project and working drawings are now being prepared. Jordan's design features a sheltered walkway at the building's front with a one-way driveway around the perimeter of the property. Special sun screens will permit light minus glare inside the building."
