Photograph caption dated March 24, 1958 reads "Shown above is rear section of Byrnes home at 14423 Mulholland Dr. where rocks and shale has (sic) already started to gradually slide down. J. J. Byrnes and his family were forced to evacuate over weekend along with next door neighbor, William Noble, principal of Van Nuys High School."
