Image shows view looking northeast with four riders on horseback along the beach approaching Malaga Cove. The riders are identified, left to right, as Howard Harris Towle (involved in the development of the Palos Verdes Project), and his wife, Gladys Towle, George Bruner, and Reba Willis (manager of La Venta Inn). A building known as Flotsam Castle (sometimes called "Hermit's Castle") is visible in background on the beach at left.
