Description: Large vertical neon sign reads "The Arcade" with "Canelo Bros. & Stackhouse Co., Dry Goods' in smaller letters at the bottom of the sign. In the background is another neon sign that reads "Royal Cafeteria".
According to the Polk Ciy Directories for San Jose and Santa Clara County, the Arcade Dry Goods company was located at South First Street in SanJose from 1896-1935.
Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit Grayscale. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
