"3 square blue boxes, each with 8 glass lantern slides and leaflet with abridged excerpt from 'Alice', 24 slides & 3 leaflets all," -- seller's description. This "set is incomplete as the full set has 4 boxes, each with 8 slides (total 32 slides)" -- seller's description. The slides depict scenes from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, accompanied by six pages comprising "an abridged reading from 'Alice's adventures in Wonderland'". "Published by permission of Messrs. Macmillan & Co. Limited, owners of copyright. The slides are reproduced from Sir John Tenniel's drawings by arrangement with the same publishers." -- page [6].
