Description: Diners at the Club Casa del Mar at 1901 Promenade, Santa Monica, attend a banquet. A woman looks askance at her dinner partner as he holds the hand of a woman in a beaded halter and short outfit. The private beach club was built in 1926 in Renaissance Revival style by Los Angeles architect, Charles F. Plummer. It became Synonon in 1975 and then the Pritikin Center before becoming a hotel.
