Description
Looking west over San Jose towards the Santa Cruz Mountains. The freight yard at San Pedro Street and Market Street is in foreground. At center on the left side of the photograph, the thirteen-story Medico-Dental Building (now Vintage Tower) stands at East Santa Clara Street and North Sixth Street. Moving towards the center of the picture from this point brings you to central downtown with the Bank of America building discernable at First Street and Santa Clara Street. First Street becomes Monterey Road extending south through cultivated fields
