Description
Photograph of flood control on the San Jose Creek, 1943. The shallow creek flows over a bed of pebbles between two opposing stone walls. A triangular barrier diverts a small portion of the water underneath a lightly-colored bridge on the right where part of an automobile can be seen driving overhead. A wire fence stands in the foreground at the top of the right stone wall while a second wire fence defends the land above the left stone wall. Trees hang over the second wire fence and continue into the background.
