Description
Photograph of men using equipment to examine crushed bedrock, ca.1907. At right a man is visible from behind leaning over a pile of small rocks. He is wearing dark slacks and a hat, while some sort of mining equipment is visible to the right of him. At left are two men facing forward standing next to each other also looking down at the pile of rocks. The man to the far left is visible wearing jeans and a collared shirt while the man to the right of him is visible wearing slacks with suspenders and a hat. There is a second, smaller piece of mining equipment on the ground between the two men. Two more men are visible in the background standing next to each other while a rocky, stripped hill is visible behind them. A portion of a woman's arm and dress is visible in the extreme foreground to the right.
