Description
Framed map showing lands granted from Don Juan Alvarado to Francisco Estrada in 1842. Printed in Spanish. Land is near the Santa Clara Mission in present-day Santa Clara. Map areas covers approximately 1/4 of a league, and shows lands from "Camino del Desecho para San Francisco" (near present I-280) north to "Estero" (edge of S.F. Bay), and from boundary of the "Mision do Santa Clara" west to lne of the lands of "D. Francisco Estrada". Also shows El Camino Real, ranch house of "Rancho de Ynigo", an arroyo and an area with trees.
