Photograph of the construction site for the Los Angeles Central Library, 1920-1929. A few hundred men wearing suits and hats can be seen milling about to the right of center. Two one-room structures can be seen at left, while what appears to be a bulldozer can be seen at left towards the background. Multiple-story buildings can be seen in the background, while smoke can be seen coming out of a machine in the left background.
