Description: Black brushed silk top hat with square crown. Black wool hatband and black grosgrain ribbon edging around the rolled brim. Leather sweatband and white silk lining. Stamped onto the lining is the name of the manufacturer "Herbert & Company, Tottenham Court Road, London" and "Made Expressly For Wahlanders, Sacramento, Cal. U.S.A."
