Description
Photograph article dated October 31, 1963 partially reads, "Two 19-year-old youths were being held by Valley police today on suspicion of robbing a Van Nuys liquor store of $25. Police arrested Raymond Carpenter (seen here) and Ronald Lee Ellmers Wednesday, minutes after the Valentine Red liquor store, 6735 Sepulveda Blvd., was robbed. Officers said Carpenter and Ellmers are AWOL from Ft. Ord."
