Description
Women in Rural Nepal are responsible for all the domestic chores and must participate in the farming work, as well. However, that is not all! They are also engaged i other tasks, contributing to the family income. Women are engaged as porters or field workers, although wages are very low and often much less than what men would get for similar jobs.
