Photograph article dated August 16, 1960 partially reads, "A Reseda salesman wrestled a 185-pound buck to the ground and smothered it to death today in the backyard of an Encino home, after the deer gored a 19-year-old youth. In the melee John C. Kenworthy, 19, 4520 Kingswell Ave., Los Angeles, was seriously gashed on the leg and above the eye and was admitted to West Valley Hospital, Encino."
