Description
Photograph caption dated September 28, 1950 reads, "Patricia Phillips, 2 1/2, is no mechanic, but bewildering antique, a 1900 vintage Edison phonograph, may blare forth at any moment to startle sister Carol, 8 months. Their mother, Mrs. A. Raborn Phillips Jr., right, and Mrs. John Cole, holding pioneer days picture of Valley, and Mrs. Jack Twomey are members of Valley's First Century Families which will present its annual luncheon at the Statler Hotel Thursday. The traditional event topic will be early California, concentrating this year on the Malibu area."
