Photograph caption reads: "Ready to lead 150 young cyclists in Burbank's annual Optimist bicycle safety parade are, from left, Candy Candido, grand marshal, with miniature bike; Burbank Mayor Dallas Williams, and George Patterson, Optimist president. Prizes were awarded for best, most original and funniest-decorated bikes. Parade started at Akron parking lot on north Hollywood Way near Magnolia boulevard." Photograph dated: May 1, 1959.
