Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the front of the Edward L. Doheny, Jr. Memorial Library at the University of Southern California, [s.d.]. The large brick library is at center. It is three stories high and has a massive arched entryway at center. A neatly landscaped garden is in the foreground, and a large fountain can be seen at center. Statues of seated women decorate the fountain. Several people can be seen walking on the brick walkways in front of the library building. The library was a gift to USC from the Doheny family in memory of a son who had been student body president. Ninety cubicles for independent study were included in the library.
