Description
This photograph, taken in 1950, shows the new Edmonds Field, which reopened in March of 1949 after a fire the previous year. Bill Avila is shown in the foreground wearing a white shirt. Avila was a scout for the Philadelphia Phillies and wrote a Bushers Column for the Sacramento Union. Norm Silva sits to his left.
