Description
Photograph of boys playing basketball at a Los Angeles park, ca.1940. A boy on the right is elevated in the air while holding his hands over head to shoot the basketball that flies out of his hand. Three boys to his left scramble towards the ball with mouths open while a boy farther to the left tries to reach the group from the other side of the court. In the background, children stand in groups while kids play with a ball tied to a pole in the center. A brick building is pictured in the background while houses can be seen in the distance.
