Description
Photograph of "Shingishu - August 1935 Another view of Ma Tyeng Dong - looking North and east toward the railroad bridge. Just a little to the right of the bridge the road bed was washed out, completely, for some two hundred yards - and this is the main line. Some of the huts are catching fire. The folks who own the hut - lower left of picture - tried to save it by tying it to something on the dyke. 'Ts no use. It didn't last long. C.J.K."
