A man on horseback stands near a standing man and two sheep in the foreground. Neaby is an ox cart. Both oxen are laying on the ground. A small copse of old trees is at right. In the background are the mission ruins. A domed bell tower and a smaller campanario straddle the main entry. A couple of smaller buildings stand in front of the church. The ocean is visible in beyond the mission.
