Photograph caption dated April 18, 1985 reads, "Firefighters used the 'Jaws of Life,' left center, to pull John Camble, 31, of Los Angeles, out of his car after it went off the southbound Harbor Freeway at 67th Street. The car smashed into the center divider, caromed back into traffic and hit two other cars before it went over the embankment and landed in the ice plant, according to Officer ramona Murray of the California Highway Patrol. Also in the car was Antoinette Cerda, 25, of Los Angeles. The CHP did not know whether Camble or Cerda was driving. Camble and Cerda are in critical condition at Martin Luther King Medical Center."
