Photograph caption dated November 24, 1955 reads "Five outstanding North Hollywood High School seniors are shown being sworn into the Army's new reserve program by Lt. Col. Robert J. Magdlen, staff Judge Advocate of the 311th Logistical Command. They are, left to right, Mike Westmore, Student Body vice president; Deek Smith, Senior 'A' class president; Grant Seltzer, Senior 'B' class president; Fred Rickson, Ray Johnson. Upon completing high school they will go on active duty for six months."
