Beihani gik straks i gang. I was burdened and hassle. Baptism was like giving birth. I was relieved and free happy". But before baptism was a story about a stolen book. People liked the fishmonger very much, because he could read and was a good storyteller. A friend of his worked with a jew. Here he"found" in a closet a strange book with gilt edges. He put it in his pocket and brought it to Beihani to be read from it. Beihani immediately went to work. He read about the Earth's creation and the first humans, and he read the long genealogies in one stretch. Here was a book with order and coherence. It was not like the Koran, which, as he himself said, "it all running round and round." But Beihani did not like that his friend had stolen the exciting book, so he ordered him to drop it back where it was taken. Some time later took Beihani a missionary who went around in Aden and talked to people and sold books to them. Beihani talked about the exciting book, and the missionary told that he knew the book well. Beihani received a copy, and he was always welcome at the missionary. Then they could discuss what the book told. Thus it happened that the fishmonger got a Bible and learned about the mission. He became interested in Christianity, but it took several years before in 1959 were baptized. On 9 July 1967 in a time of crisis for the country and the congregation Muhammad Hussain al-Beihani was prescribed a priest for the "Arab church in South Yemen." It took time to be a priest, so he did not sell quite as many fish now as before. But you have to live. The picture shows Baihani on the order date.
