Description
Rural scene, either a small settlement, or a collection of farm buildings. Looking across a dirt plot to the back of a low white building with multiple windows and an American flag flying on a flagpole in front. There is a small pond to the left of the building. Across the pond is another white building that appears to be a house. A road appears to run in front of both of these buildings, with another small white building across the road. In the bottom right, obscured by a tree, is a sidewalk. A large fenced grassy area is in the background, with multiple trees surrounding the area. From a strip of Eastman Plus X negatives showing vacation images from somewhere in California. There are two primary settings: 1) A multi-story Spanish-colonial resort set amidst trees, that appears to be near a river or lake with a stone arch bridge above a swimming area. There also appears to be a golf course nearby. 2) Small sailboats participating in a sailing regatta in a body of water with hills in the background and a small harbor and marina with parking lot and stucco buildings along the shore. Related images are also found in 1993-12-79 and possibly 1993-12-75.
