Description
Photograph caption dated February 22, 1964 reads, "Members of the Canoga Park Democrats Club presented Canoga Park High School teacher Guy H. Raner, seated right, with the John F. Kennedy Memorial Award Wednesday for his 'championing of freedom of speech, civil rights, freedom of the press and international co-operation.' Presenting the award is Andy Klemmer, president of the club. Others at the meeting at the Veterans of Foreign Wars clubhouse included, standing from left, Sam Catalano, chairman of the group's American Heritage committee; Dep. Atty. Gen. Robert O'Brian, guest speaker, and Bert Moffatt, chairman of the Awards committee."
