Description
Photograph caption dated August 3, 1982 reads, "While city firemen stand by for any latent fire damage, an LAPD helicopter takes off from the playing field (Snyder Field) bordering the crash site." The accident involved a single-engine Cessna 150 (right of center) that crashed down upon the tennis courts at Los Angeles City College. Pilot Bryon Jaffe and his passenger Randal Martin only suffered minor injuries.
