Carriage & evening dress for January, 1819. Two images. Left: Black ankle length dress. High collared, long sleeved with empire waist cut. Bottom hem has white ruffle detail. Accessories include a gray turban with feathers, gray gloves, and a white shawl. Right: Gray ankle length dress. Empire waist with wide scoop neckline and short cap sleeves. Dress hem is embellished with small white rosettes. Accessories include a white crownm necklace with cross, and long white evening gloves.
