Lady Signe Tillisch from Vemmetofte Convent, (23.03.1842-18.03.1927). Signe Tillisch came to North India as missionary at her own expence in 1892. She was placed together with Ingeborg and Halfdan Bahr at the Assam Colony, where she was responsible for the women's ministry. She returned to Denmark after the death of Halfdan Bahr in 1896.
