Description
Title taken from image. Interior view of the Real Teatro di San Carlo (Royal Theatre of Saint Charles), an opera house in Naples, from the perspective of a rear balcony. The horse-shoe shaped auditorium with many balconies is decorated primarily in red and gold colors. The ceiling is decorated with allegorical characters. The stage has many curtains and an elaborate proscenium arch; an unidentified performance is taking place, with musicians faintly visible in the orchestra pit. Uncirculated, colorized, with divided back. Described as a view card, based on realistic image of a specific location.
