Photograph article dated November 25, 1960 partially reads, "Jack Sims, of Mountain View, Calif., is $1,000 richer and he's wearing the 1960 Fast Draw shooting crown. Sims, 24, took top honors at the second annual Hotel Sahara-Colt National Open Fast Draw championship shoot in Las Vegas last week end. This year's entries topped the 180 mark exceeding last year by 88 shooters. Working before more than 2,000 spectators in the Vegas convention center, the shooters went through the two-day event in pairs, blasting for the $3,300 prize money."
