Description
Micky Moore (pictured here) worked as a property man on Cecil B. DeMille's war/pirate film "The Buccaneer" (1938). DeMille helped Moore transition from child actor to working behind the scenes in the property department. This gave Moore the opportunity to learn about all aspects of filmmaking. Moore worked on over 40 films within a 10 year time period before transitioning yet again, to production. Micky would later credit "The Buccaneer" with preparing him for his later work on military films, such as "Patton."
