Description
Connie and Ian begin the interview discussing his early life, how he was bullied as a youth, and how music and singing was a way for him to win his peers over. They proceed to talk about his college years and his journey to the United States, where he secured a record deal in Seattle. Ian plays the song that became a major hit for his career, and they move on to talk about how he began recording music and working with major figures, including Mae West. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
