Image of a head-and-shoulders portrait of opéra bouffe actor and singer Louise Theo in a lace-fringed dress and hat in a circular border decorated with flowers and leaves.
Probable date based on general performer history; Theo first performed in the United States in 1882. "Drawn expressly / Brainards' Musical / Treasures. / by / W.J. Morgan & Co. Cleveland."--text, bottom center margin. "W.U.[?]"--text, illegible artist's signature in stone, lower right of image.
