Photograph of an aerial view of the Los Angeles International Airport facing northeast, with an emphasis on the runway, in December 1951. The picture has been blatantly edited with some sort of white substance to highlight the runway system at the airport at center. Around this, the cityscape stretches in all directions. In the foreground one can make out the tops of houses and fields, and in the distance, the city extends and tapers off with a mountainous border at areas.
