Description
Looking north across Wilshire Boulevard near Serrano Avenue, is the new Ahmanson Center, later the Wilshire Colonnade, with Home Savings and Loan and Ahmanson Bank to be located in the building. Down the street to the right is the Wilshire Boulevard Temple. The monumental, travertine-clad Ahmanson has two curved, multi-story buildings which surround a central plaza. Designed by Edward Durrell Stone and built in 1970.
