Photograph shows the body of Gim Fong, resting inside an open casket draped with an American flag during his funeral services, which were held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. Several people have gotten in line to pay their last respects to this patriarch. Mr. Fong, who served in the Army, was the owner and proprietor of a 53-year-old museum-like shop, Fong's Oriental Works of Art, located on Chung King Road in China City, now known as Chinatown. Fong, a master artisan known for his delicate miniatures, passed away October 17th of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 74. Photograph dated October 25, 2005.
